I have recently spoken to a close friend of Larry’s sister. She has been informed that Larry has been found alive and well. The police did not provide any further details. The NJSP has taken Larry off of their website but he is still considered a missing person in several other places.
Case #: 210465826
Larry A. Sabel was last seen on October 20, 2021 at the Amani House in Trenton, New Jersey. He is a 62 year old white male, 5’10” in height, 220 lbs with gray hair and hazel eyes. He is more commonly known as Dr. Larry Sabel from the Sports Wellness & Chiropractic Physician of Princeton.
Here is his facebook page: https://www.facebook.com/Dr.LarrySabel/ this page has been active during Larry’s disappearance. Perhaps there are other people running his page.
His actual facebook profile, https://www.facebook.com/larry.sabel.5 has NOT been active since August 17th.
Both pages have numerous photos of Dr. Larry Sabel working on his patients.
This is another page about the doctor: https://www.sportswellnessphysician.com/providing-effective-care-to-a-former-patient/
And here is a video of Dr. Sabel: https://www.sportswellnessphysician.com/dr-larry-sabel/
There are very few articles about Larry besides NamUs and the NJ State Police missing person poster.
There is also a patch article that can be viewed here;
^^^ There is a blurb all the way at the bottom, stating “On Sept. 3 at 11:48 p.m. : Patrols responded to a report of suspicious activity in a business after hours and located a man, identified as Larry Sabel, 62, of Lumberton inside the business without privilege to be there. Sabel was placed under arrest for criminal trespass and was later released with a summons.”
The only other thing online is a four page PDF file of a court case settling some kind of insurance dispute with another doctor about a car accident survivor/patient and her care. https://www.state.nj.us/banking/aaa/data/18z600128901.pdf
If you have any further information, please contact the NJSP Missing Persons & Human Trafficking Unit at 609-882-2000 extention 2554.
Dr. Sabel is a colleague of mine and I have known him since the early 1990’s. He is a very learned man and is passionate about his profession. He has suffered from untreated and even undiagnosed depression for many years. He also is an accomplished pilot as I have had occasion to fly with him on numerous occasions. My family is praying for a positive outcome to this very disturbing yet sobering news. Please come back Dr Larry! 😢

Unfortunately not. I have checked his social media, and the NJSP website still considers him a missing person.
