The identity of Union County Jane Doe 2020 has been revealed as 23 year old Jasmine Featherstone of Elizabeth New Jersey. Jasmine previously lived in Middletown Connecticut, and was not reported missing. It was a Genome Sequencing lab called Othram that teamed up with the Union County Prosecutor’s office to identify her through her DNA in March of 2022.
In June of 2020, the remains of a deceased female were located along railroad tracks in the area off the 300 block of Port Avenue, Elizabeth, Union County, New Jersey. Upon investigation, her death was ruled a homicide. It was determined that the female was black, between the ages of 25 and 35, stood at about 5’6″ to 5’7″ and weighed 125 to 140 lbs. She had short hair and double piercings in both ears.Â
