On September 14, 1984, this deceased young woman was found near 77 Eppirt Street in East Orange, New Jersey. She was only dead a few hours by the time she was located. She was a black female estimated to be 15 to 20 years old, with brown eyes and a short, dark colored afro. She was between 5’05” – 5’09” tall and weighed between 135-155 lbs. Jane Doe has a facial scar under her left eye approximately a half-inch long, a 3-inch scar on the front of her neck towards the left side, and several scars along her wrists and forearms. Some sources mention a long scar down her left thigh, and another scar over her right eyebrow. The condition of her fingernails indicated she was a nail biter in life, as her nails were bitten down to the quick. She was wearing a gray sweater with a white bra, a pair of jeans and socks. She had four rings on: a silver ring with the letter “Y”, a gold ring with 21 white stones, a plain gold ring, and a black rubber ring. Both of her ears were pierced. She had recently been treated by a dentist. She possibly used the first name of either “Loronda or Laranda” and possible last names of “Anderson or Sharpcheck.” According to newspaper articles, she was known around the area as “L.A” and had only been living in East Orange for about four months.
