The Murdered Rocco Marinaro

The Murdered
Rocco Marinaro
Allentown, Pennsylvania

On the afternoon of Wednesday, March 14, 2012, 57 year old Rocco Marinaro was found deceased inside the enclosed porch of his home on the 1900 block of Allen Street in Allentown, Pennsylvania. He had been shot in the chest and was lying face down on the floor.
He was last seen walking home from a local restaurant a couple of days before his death.
On the night of Monday, March 12, neighbors reported hearing gunshots in the area. Some assumed they were fireworks.
A surveillance video was released showing two men at the corner of North 19th and West Allen Streets at 8:35 p.m that night, but police have been unable to identify them. They are believed to have witnessed the incident.
Unfortunately, all I could find was a screen shot of the video.
Rocco’s family members described him as a “well-rounded, loving, wonderful human being.” He loved photography, traveling and his two cats. He worked for a company called “Keystone Concrete.”
The murder of Rocco Marinaro remains unsolved.
