The Murdered Melvyn C.C Frazier Jr.
Reading, Pennsylvania
21 year old Melvyn C.C. Frazier was horrifically shot and killed in the early hours of Sunday, June 22, 2025 in the 1200 block of Oak Lane in Reading, Pennsylvania. He was immediately taken to the Tower Health Reading Hospital where he passed away. His cause of death was a gunshot wound to the chest.
At the time, he was staying in Reading with his aunt, Hydeia Jallo, for summer vacation.
Melvyn was born in Reading, but he and his immediate family moved to Virginia, looking for a better life. He still had many friends and family members in town.
After he spent the day of the 21st with Hydeia at an art festival called “Art on the Avenue,” he decided to attend a local house party on Lorraine Road that night. The party continued until daybreak.
According to investigators, the shooting stemmed from a physical altercation that happened between several people at the party.
His family is devastated over their loss.
The Murder of Melvyn Frazier Jr. remains unsolved.
