The life of 24 year old Maurice Johnson was taken by a gunshot wound on March 8, 2012 at 12:06 a.m. in the Rochdale Village apartment complex in Queens, New York. He was sitting with a friend on a bench outside building 14 on 133rd Avenue when a group of three to five men approached them and began shooting.
At least one round hit Maurice in the head, and according to witnesses, he sadly passed away in his friend’s arms. One witness said she heard a total of four shots and saw two vehicles, a car and a tan colored SUV, speeding away. Surveillance footage from security cameras in the area have been collected, but no arrests have ever been made.
