 💔 One Year Later: Police Still Seeking Answers in the Death of Derrick Davis 💔

On September 1, 2024, a night meant for fun in Clairton, Pennsylvania turned tragic. Around 2:30 a.m., hundreds gathered in the 400 block of State Street when chaos broke out. Just after 4 a.m., shots were fired into the crowd,  more than a dozen in total.
28 year old Derrick Davis was hit in the back. He tried to drive away but crashed about a mile from the scene. Derrick was rushed to the hospital, but sadly, he didn’t make it. Two others were also injured that night.
Detectives with the Allegheny County Police Homicide Unit are still investigating. Several guns were recovered, but no suspects have been identified. Witnesses say there were nearly 1,000 people there and someone knows what happened.
