More than a year after 64-year-old Bryant Boyd was fatally shot outside Cal’s Cantina in McKeesport, PA, Allegheny County police have released new surveillance footage to generate new leads.
Bryant was killed on June 13, 2024, as he left the restaurant. The video shows two suspects running toward him and opening fire before fleeing in a maroon colored Chevrolet, which police later confirmed was stolen from McKeesport and found in North Versailles.
Detectives now believe Bryant was not the intended target. His family, still grieving, is urging anyone with information to come forward. “Knowing he wasn’t the target makes it worse,” said his daughter, Tiffanique. “We’re just trying to live with this new reality.”
