On May 5, 2023, 49-year-old Malik Sanders was found shot to death inside his apartment building on the 400 block of Library Street in Braddock, Pennsylvania. Police and first responders were called to the scene just before noon and discovered Sanders near the front entrance of his ground-floor apartment. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
Investigators later noted that Sanders’ vehicle, parked outside the building, had also been damaged. The Allegheny County Police Homicide Unit is leading the investigation, and no suspect information has been released.
