ππ¨ Senseless Tragedy in Hartford π¨π
On February 6, 2007, 45 year old Deanna Pugh, a devoted mother and grandmother of 11, was tragically killed in a drive-by shooting in Hartford Connecticut. She had stepped out of her car near Flatbush Avenue and Zion Street to smoke a cigarette when a passing dark colored Honda opened fire. Deanna had just taken her granddaughter to a doctorβs appointment, making the sudden violence even more heartbreaking. Her family and witnesses remain devastated and confused, with no suspects identified. Loved ones remember Deanna as a radiant, compassionate woman whose life was senselessly cut short. Investigators continue to urge anyone with information to come forward and help bring justice to her family.
Hartford police are asking anyone who may have seen the shooting to call Lt. Scott Sansom, commander of the major crimes division, at 860-527-6300, Ext. 5230; Det. Mark Fowler at 860-527-6300, Ext. 5439; or the departmentβs confidential tip hot line at 860-527-TIPS.
