In September 2016, 26 year old Nicholas Brown was tragically shot and killed on Magnolia Street in Hartford, Connecticut. Police were alerted by the city’s ShotSpotter system and found Nicholas suffering from multiple gunshot wounds; he later died at Saint Francis Hospital. Investigators say at least two firearms were used, but no witnesses or suspects have been identified. Nicholas leaves behind a grieving family who continue to fight for justice, saying he will never get the chance to watch his children grow up. A $50,000 state reward is now being offered for information leading to an arrest and conviction. Anyone who knows what happened is urged to come forward and help bring closure to his loved ones.
