On February 28, 2007, 32 year old Javed Akhtar was tragically shot and killed outside his One Stop Convenience Store on Depot Street in East Windsor Connecticut during an apparent robbery. His heartbreaking loss left behind a grieving wife, two young children, and a community searching for answers. Although the murder weapon was later recovered, the case went cold for years. Today, investigators are re-examining evidence and actively pursuing new leads connected to three potential suspects, offering renewed hope for justice. There is an offer for up to $50,000 for information leading to an arrest and conviction.
