On the night of May 6, 2005, 34 year old Edward “Little Man” Bell was shot multiple times on George Street in Hartford after a fistfight. Officers arrived around 11:20 p.m. and rushed him to the hospital, but he tragically passed away shortly after. Bell, known both for his struggles and his deep love for his family, left behind children who still want answers. Although many anonymous tips came in, they weren’t enough to solve the case. A $50,000 reward remains unclaimed for information leading to an arrest and conviction. Police are now working with forensic genealogists to analyze DNA and identify potential suspects, but they still need the community’s help.
