The Murdered
Baby Boy Doe “Baby Victor”
Fairfield, Connecticut

🕊️ The Story of “Baby Victor” — A Tragic Cold Case 🕊️
On March 14, 1986, the body of a newborn boy, later nicknamed “Baby Victor” by police, was found near a wooded picnic area at Lake Mohegan in Fairfield Connecticut. Investigators determined he had been killed shortly after birth, and the way his body was left suggested the perpetrator intended for him to be discovered. The infant was wrapped in adult pajamas and surrounded by items such as fruit, coins, and food, leading police to believe the scene may have been connected to a ritualistic practice possibly related to Palo, Santería, or a similar tradition.
Years later, in 2011, detectives revealed a potential lead: evidence that a baby had been born in a bathroom stall at a former data-processing building near the Kings Highway/Black Rock Turnpike traffic circle just hours before the discovery. Although the building is no longer standing, investigators believe someone who worked there in 1986 may hold crucial information. Authorities continue to seek the public’s help in identifying Baby Victor and solving this decades-old homicide.
