Tina Elizabeth Foglia was just 19 years old when she vanished after a night out at Hammerheads Nightclub on Sunrise Highway in West Islip, New York. She was last seen leaving the club around 3:00 a.m. on February 1, 1982. Days later, her dismembered remains were discovered in plastic bags along an exit ramp near the Southern State and Sagtikos Parkways in Suffolk County, NY. Tina was a music loving, free spirited young woman from Brentwood who worked as a home health aide and dreamed of more. Despite decades passing, her murder remains unsolved. Investigators have not ruled out a possible connection to the Long Island serial killer cases, and DNA evidence still holds hope for answers.
