The Murdered
Michael Kleiman
Kerhonkson, New York

🕊️Justice for Michael Kleiman | Never Forgotten 🕊️
On July 25, 2008, 59-year-old Michael J. Kleiman of Kerhonkson, NY was brutally murdered, his burned remains discovered inside his light gray 2004 Nissan pickup truck near the former Hudson Cement Plant in East Kingston. Michael was a gentle, kindhearted nurses’ aide who loved antiques, books, and the quiet beauty of the Hudson Valley. Police believe he was killed elsewhere, placed in his own truck, and the vehicle was set on fire to destroy evidence. Despite hundreds of leads, the case remains unsolved 17 years later. Investigators are asking for the public’s help, especially anyone who saw Michael’s truck (NY plate CGE 5199), noticed suspicious behavior, or has information about his missing jewelry, including a Rolex watch and distinctive rings.
If you know anything, no matter how small, please contact the Town of Ulster Police Department at (845) 382-1111.
Let’s remember Michael as the man he was, and help bring his family the justice they deserve. 🙏🕯️
