🕯️ Unsolved for 50 Years: Justice for Katherine Kolodziej 🕯️
In November 1974, 17 year old Katherine “Kathy” Kolodziej, a freshman living on campus at SUNY Cobleskill, vanished after a night out at the Vault Tavern in Cobleskill, NY. Last seen around 1:30 a.m. heading back toward campus, Kathy never made it home. Nearly a month later, on November 28, her body was discovered along McDonald Road in Richmondville, her death ruled a homicide. A quiet, kind animal lover with dreams of working with horses, Kathy’s life was cut tragically short just weeks into college. 50 years later, New York State Police Troop G and the Major Crimes Unit continue to investigate and are asking for the public’s help.
