🕊️ Unsolved Homicide: Gilberto Sarmiento 💔
Gilberto Sarmiento was last seen on July 17, 1994, leaving his family’s home in Washingtonville, NY. Two days later, his 1986 Isuzu Trooper was found parked outside a bar on Newburgh’s waterfront. Months later, on January 13, 1995, Gilberto’s remains were discovered along the Metro-North railroad tracks near the Newburgh–Beacon Bridge in the Town of Fishkill. He had been shot to death. Gilberto was described as being a dedicated bodybuilder and recent Pace University graduate with a finance degree. His case remains unsolved.
