🕊️ Unsolved Cold Case: Justice Still Sought 🕊️
In March 1988, the body of 31 year old Terri Kay Roark of Mount Pleasant, Texas, was discovered on the shoulder of Interstate 87 near the Twin Bridges over the Mohawk River in upstate New York. An autopsy revealed she died from a fractured skull, and her death was ruled a homicide. Roark was last seen eight days earlier leaving a mental health facility in Tulsa, Oklahoma, and investigators have never determined how she traveled to New York or who was responsible for her death. A gray duffel bag belonging to her was later found miles away, apparently thrown from a moving vehicle. More than three decades later, the case remains open, and New York State Police continue to urge anyone with information to come forward.
Tips may be reported confidentially to NY State Police Troop G at (518) 783-3211.
