On the morning after Christmas in 1990, 17 year old Shana Renee Price, a young mother with a baby son, was found murdered near the entrance of Blunt Park in Springfield, Massachusetts. Her tragic case went largely unnoticed for years, but new hope emerged in 2022 when DNA evidence led to a composite sketch of a possible suspect. Now, nearly 35 years later, investigators are using advanced forensic genetic genealogy and community DNA outreach to identify distant relatives and generate new leads. Two phenotype reports were created to show what the killer looked like.
