The investigation into the unsolved murder of Springfield community leader and activist Jafet Robles continues. On September 11, 2017, the 33 year old father of four was found deceased in Szot Park in Chicopee Massachusetts after going missing the night before. He suffered a gunshot wound to his back. Jafet was known for his powerful commitment to justice, his work with “Neighbor to Neighbor Massachusetts,” and his deep love for his family and community. Born in Puerto Rico and raised in Springfield, he dedicated his life to uplifting others, especially in the North End. Years later, his family and supporters continue to honor his legacy while seeking answers and accountability. 

Authorities urge anyone with information to come forward anonymously by calling 1-855-MA-SOLVE. 

Jafet’s life mattered, and his community will not stop calling for justice. 💙
