🚨 Remembering Edson Ramos | Ongoing Investigation 🔍

In the early morning hours of August 17, 2014, New Bedford Massachusetts police responded to reports of gunfire near Weld Square and discovered the body of 32 year old Edson A. Ramos in a grassy area by Route 18, just north of the Interstate 195 overpass. A witness reported hearing three gunshots about 20 minutes before finding him. Ramos was last seen around 1 a.m. walking along Acushnet Avenue toward the area where he was later found. He was pronounced dead at the scene, and authorities continue to investigate the case as a homicide.
