The Suspicious Death of Georgia Ann Irwin

The Suspicious Death of Georgia Ann Irwin
Bernards Township, New Jersey

🕯️Georgia Ann Irwin: A Long-Unsolved Mystery 🌲

On November 25, 1985, skeletal remains were discovered in a wooded area off Route 287 in Bernards Township, New Jersey, by workers from a tree cutting service. The remains went unidentified for nearly two decades until March 14, 2005, when the victim’s daughter contacted the New Jersey State Police after an internet search led her to the case. Dental records confirmed the remains belonged to Georgia Ann Irwin, a loving mother of three who had vanished from Hazel Park, Michigan, in June 1984. Her fiancé had reported her missing on June 15, 1984, and investigators believed she may have traveled to the Bronx, New York. After 21 years, Georgia Ann Irwin was finally identified, bringing long-overdue answers to her family, though the circumstances of her death remain suspicious.
