On February 14, 2009, 22 year old Towson University student Daniel Ho Coverston was found murdered in his apartment on Lachlan Circle, Baltimore MD, while recovering from eye surgery that required him to lie face down for most of the day. A friend who regularly checked on him entered the unlocked apartment that afternoon, expecting to find Daniel resting as instructed, but instead discovered blood and realized he had been shot in the back of the head. Police believe Daniel may have received a final phone call shortly before his death from a payphone at Loch Raven Boulevard and Belvedere Avenue, possibly from the person who entered his apartment and killed him. Despite years of investigation, no clear motive or suspect has been identified, leaving Daniel’s family and friends searching for answers. Remembered as compassionate, talented, and full of life, Daniel was preparing to graduate when his life was cut short, and his family continues to plead for justice, offering a $15,000 reward for information that could help solve the case. 🙏🕯️
