On the evening of January 28, 2007, around 7:30–7:35 p.m., 17 year old Kevin Byron Evans Jr. was shot multiple times outside his home in the unit block of Old Coach Lane in Owings Mills Precinct 3, Franklin, Maryland. Baltimore County Police responded to reports of shots fired, and Kevin was rushed by medics to Northwest Hospital Center, where he later died from his injuries. Detectives continue to investigate this unsolved homicide, though no suspects or motive have been identified.
