🔍 Unsolved Homicide: The Death of Susie Myers 💔🏠

In the early hours of March 5, 1989, Baltimore County police responded to a home in the 400 block of Schwartz Avenue in Towson after a neighbor noticed the front door standing open. Inside, officers found 68 year old Susie Govans Myers deceased at the top of the stairs on the second floor, having suffered fatal upper-body trauma. An autopsy later confirmed she had been strangled. Investigators determined that the home had been forcibly entered and items were stolen, but they believe the suspect was someone Susie knew and trusted. The case remains unsolved, and detectives with the Baltimore County Cold Case Squad continue to seek information. 

A reward of up to $2,000 is being offered for tips leading to the person responsible; anyone with information is urged to call the Baltimore County Police Department at 410-887-3943 or the Metro Crime Stoppers at 1-866-7-LOCKUP.
