On April 26, 1976, 18 year old Deborah Scott, a bright, kind-hearted freshman at Morgan State University, was found murdered in her family’s Woodlawn, Maryland apartment after a family member returned home from school and discovered her unresponsive. Deborah, a valedictorian, church choir singer, and beloved daughter, had suffered violent trauma to her upper body. Nearly five decades later, no one has been held accountable for her death, leaving her mother, Jean Hayes, and surviving family searching for answers and holding onto hope as new DNA technology is explored by investigators. A reward of up to $2,000 is being offered for information that could help solve this case.
