🕯️ Unsolved Murder of a Dundalk Mother 💔

On September 23, 1989, Teresa “Terry” Ann Schmansky, a 36 year old mother of three, was found fatally stabbed inside her home in the 6700 block of Holabird Avenue in Dundalk, Maryland. Her children were not home at the time, and Terry was discovered by her brother when he returned her oldest daughter after an overnight visit. Terry was a waitress at Squires Restaurant nearby, and she had followed her normal routine the night before. Investigators reported no signs of forced entry, leading them to believe she may have known her killer. Despite a thorough investigation, no suspects were ever charged, and the case remains unsolved decades later, deeply affecting her family, who continue to hope advances in DNA technology will bring justice.
