🔍 Unsolved Murder: Irene Poulson White 🏡

On October 11, 1991, 97 year old Irene Poulson White was found murdered in her home on the unit block of Portship Road in Dundalk, Maryland. Police were initially dispatched for a reported cardiac arrest, but upon arrival found Irene deceased in her bed; an autopsy later revealed she had been strangled. Irene was a well respected member of the community, a co-founder of the Dundalk Historical Society, and remained active in her later years by teaching and renting rooms in her home. Although the case has remained unsolved for more than three decades, neighbors have long been haunted by the crime, and police have indicated a former tenant was once considered a suspect but lacked sufficient evidence for charges.

Authorities stress that it is never too late for justice and that even the smallest detail could help solve the case. Anyone with information is encouraged to contact Metro Crime Stoppers at 1-866-7LOCKUP, where tips may remain anonymous and could be eligible for a cash reward of up to $2,000. 💔
