Christopher Muir Davis was a 22 year old from St. Albans, Vermont, remembered by his family as a kind, caring, and deeply family-oriented young man who loved his daughter and would help anyone in need. On March 21, 2012, he was violently assaulted and robbed by two men on Aldis Street, after which he disappeared. More than two weeks later, on April 16, city workers preparing the St. Albans municipal pool for summer made a devastating discovery. Christopher’s body was found floating in the partially filled pool near where the assault occurred. Although two men were convicted for assault and robbery related to that night, the cause and manner of Christopher’s death could not be determined, and no one has been charged in connection with his death. Cleared of unrelated robbery suspicions and believed to have already been deceased when those crimes occurred, Christopher’s case remains officially classified as an unsolved homicide by Vermont State Police. More than a decade later, his family continues to seek answers and urges anyone with information to come forward, hoping for accountability, justice, and peace after far too many years of unanswered questions.
