On January 3, 1981, during a brutal cold snap in northern Vermont, a University of Vermont student discovered what he thought was a mannequin in the snow on Brookes Avenue in Burlington, but it was the body of 35 year old Angela Belisle outside her home. While authorities initially suspected her death was caused by extreme weather, an autopsy revealed she had been shot within the previous 24 hours, and her death was ruled a homicide. More than four decades later, the case remains unsolved, and investigators continue seeking information that could bring answers and justice. 🕊️
