🔍 Elwyn “Randy” White — Unsolved Homicide

Elwyn “Randy” White, 40, was reported missing from Barre, Vermont in August 2001 after friends and family had not heard from him. Nearly nine months later, on May 10, 2002, a turkey hunter discovered his body buried in a shallow grave off Berlin Pond Road in Northfield. Authorities ruled his death a homicide, but details about the cause and circumstances were withheld to protect the investigation. White, who had lived in several areas of Barre and was known to walk everywhere, was believed to have been killed around the time he disappeared. Despite extensive interviews and forensic evidence, no suspects have been publicly named, and the case remains unsolved.
