Andrew M. Piskunov, 33, a lifelong resident of Paterson New Jersey who was born in Wayne, tragically lost his life on Thursday, June 11, 2020, after being shot near the corner of Paterson Street and Hamilton Avenue at 10:30 p.m He was taken to St. Joseph’s University Medical Center, where he passed away from his wounds. Raised in a tough neighborhood, Andrew faced early challenges and had past scrapes with the law, but those close to him say he worked hard to turn his life around, becoming a self-made entrepreneur and a source of strength for others. As the owner of “Avlacier”, an Alkaline water company, he had recently patented his own water formula and began building his business independently. Beyond his professional efforts, Andrew was deeply devoted to his family, leaving behind his 14 year old daughter and caring for his mother in every way after the loss of her husband. He was widely known in the community for his generosity, donating money, supplies, blankets for the homeless, and resources to shelters, always giving from the heart without seeking recognition. Loved ones described him as someone with a strong vision for life who genuinely loved his community and was determined to make a better future for his family
