The Missing Bryanna Lynn Rosendo

The Missing
Bryanna Lynn Cooper Rosendo
Wilkes-Barre Pennsylvania

Bryanna Rosendo was 35 years old when she was last heard from in early May 2021 in Wilkes-Barre Pennsylvania. She is a white female with long brown wavy hair and blue eyes. She stands at 5’2” – 5’4” and is between 130 and 160 lbs. She has both ears pierced, and has several tattoos. Her date of birth is listed as January 11th 1986. She answers to Bryanna, Bree or Destiny X.
Bryanna had a rough upbringing, and at age 12 she was involved in the Kids For Cash scandal in Wilkes-Barre at the time. Kids for Cash was a program that sentenced kids with minor criminal offenses to endure harsh punishments during stays at corrupt youth centers and facilities that the program got kickbacks from. This program was proven to make matters worse in the lives of these troubled children.
At age 16, Bryanna was released into the care of her grandmother. She was okay for a while, but she had a lack of mental development and struggled with her education. She dropped out of school and later became pregnant with her son. She began experimenting with drugs, specifically crack and heroin, which caused her to lose her parental rights.
The next few years Bryanna had a difficult time with her sobriety and used drugs on and off. She eventually married and had a second son. When she was able to remain sober she was a loving and devoted mother. However, with her juvenile record, no GED or driver’s license, finding work was challenging and stressful.
Ultimately, in 2015 she divorced her husband and spent most of her time on the streets. She became homeless and either stayed with friends who allowed her to sleep on their couches, or she stayed at shady motels in Wilkes-Barre. Even through her darkest periods of drug use, she always kept in contact with her kids.  She never went more than a couple months without contacting family.
According to one of Bryanna’s friends, she last saw her in February and March of 2021 at the Wilkes-Barre Lodge, a run down motel that was known to have drug activity. She says that’s where Bryanna was staying until a few days before a drug raid occurred there. She then moved into a male friend’s home with an unnamed African American man she met on a dating app. The male friend’s home was regularly open to people with nowhere else to go. Bryanna had frequented this house in the past and kept clothing and other belongings there.
This is where the time of events gets a bit confusing.
At the end of April 2021, she contacted her ex-husband on a cell phone number with a Georgia area code. But she told him she wasn’t actually in Georgia and she had just borrowed the phone. When a family member called Bryanna’s cellphone in July 2021, another woman answered and was annoyed that people kept trying to reach Bryanna at that number. She stated she had it for a couple of months at that point.
The male friend who she was staying with reported that Bryanna and her African American companion moved out in May of 2021 and moved to Baltimore and he says he has not had contact with her since. However, other friends have claimed to have seen her at the male friend’s house in July and December 2021.
Bryanna heavily used social media and has multiple Facebook accounts with over 1,000 friends. On May 10th of 2021, all activity stopped. Bryanna’s ex boyfriend was the one to realize her lack of posts, which prompted him to call her mother and her ex husband, and urged them to file a missing persons report.
A report was made, but Bryanna’s family got the impression that it wasn’t taken seriously due to her high risk lifestyle; police took the report with no urgency.
Family members contacted hospitals and jails all across PA, NJ, NY and MD in an attempt to find her.
Witnesses came forward with alleged sightings of Bryanna after May 2021 at many different motels around Kensington and Philadelphia, Pennsylvania accompanied by an African American male and other women. There were also sightings of Bryanna in Baltimore MD at around the same time, with the same man. There are many conflicting accounts.
In January of 2022, there was a disturbing new sighting of Bryanna, again in Baltimore. Someone claimed to have seen Bryanna getting pulled into a black Kia Optima by persons unknown.
Bryanna’s family thinks she is being held against her will and was trafficked. She is assumed to be in danger. They are desperate for answers.
