The Missing Carla Vincentini

The Missing
Carla Vicentini
Case#: 06014648
Essex County

Carla Vicentini was 22 years old when she was last seen leaving the Adega Bar & Grill located on Ferry Street in Newark, New Jersey on February 10, 2006 at 2:30 in the morning. She may have been intoxicated and may have been with a white male named “Antonio.” He was described as being in his thirties, 5’8” and 200 lbs with blue eyes, short salt and pepper hair and an unshaved beard, wearing a black t-shirt. Carla struck up a conversation with the man as she was in the bar with her friend/roommate that she had just moved in with. Carla told her friend that she was going outside to the man’s car to view a photograph and to talk. The friend told her she would meet her at home. She has not been seen since. Carla is a white female, 5’07”, 140 lbs with blonde hair and brown eyes. She was born in the country of Brazil, coming to the United States on January 19, 2006 as an exchange student on a Cultural Exchange Program. She was planning on staying for a few months. She saved up her money to come to the U.S and she was very happy about the opportunity. As part of this program, Carla was assigned to work at a White Castle restaurant and live in a small motel room with several other women in the program, but she became unhappy with the arrangement, so she then moved out and changed jobs. She was an engineering student at the time she went missing, newly living with her friend in Newark’s Ironbound neighborhood, and had just started a job at the Mediterranean Manor.
She was last seen wearing a white sleeveless shirt, a blue Hugo Boss brand jacket, a Mormaii sports wristwatch on her left wrist, a large silver ring on her ring finger and two silver rope necklaces, one with a pedant, blue or white jeans and high-heeled brown ankle boots. She has multiple body piercings, including a silver ball in her navel, a silver ball in her tongue, several ear piercings, and many tattoos including a tribal design on her lower back, a tattoo of a tiger on her stomach, a red and yellow chameleon on her left hip, and a tattoo of a gray angel on her back. Her case is classified as a kidnapping. She has previously fractured the right side of her collar bone. Her nickname is Carlinha. The man “Antonio” has not been identified, he and Carla were seen “drinking and talking” before leaving together, which is unusual because her native language is Brazilian Portuguese and she speaks limited English, but this man was reported to not speak Portuguese. He appeared “quiet and sullen.” He is considered a person of interest.
It is believed that Carla had made it back to her residence on Ferry Street, which is near the restaurant she was last seen at, because her jacket, wallet and passport were found there. But there were no other signs of where Carla had gone afterwards.
Several days after Carla went missing, someone called her boss’s cell phone and screamed for help. This caller had not been identified and it is unclear whether the call was related to the case.
Carla’s mother believes she was murdered since she never went more than a couple of days without getting in touch with her family. She stated that someone destroyed Carla’s dream of getting the chance to know a different country.

This is a sketch of the man last seen with Carla.

Her case remains unsolved.

(Age progression photo)

Robert William Dornbach, better known as “Bobby,” was 17 years old when he was last seen at his family’s residence at 217 Cumberland Street in Gloucester City, New Jersey on November 27, 2005. He invited his girlfriend over for dinner, and he told his mother he was going out to get a pizza and would be back in 20 minutes, but he did not return.
At the time of his disappearance, Bobby was on probation for an unspecified offence, however on a different site it was stated that he may have been involved in Controlled Dangerous Substances. He was also suspended from school for missing classes at the time.
Robert is a white male, 5’08” in height, 150-170 lbs, brown hair and brown eyes. He has a scar on his right knee, a tattoo of “D BACH” on his left arm, a tattoo of a cross on his ankle and a pierced lower lip. He wears a silver necklace. He has relatives in the Atlantic City area.

Jamie Diane Seymour was 21 years old when she was last seen in Brick Township, New Jersey on July 22, 2005. She had moved out of her Jackson Township residence and was drifting from place to place. On July 22, she called her father and said she was heading to the Port Authority New York area. She has not been heard from since. Jamie’s father reported her missing on August 8. There has been some talk of the Long Island Serial Killer possibly being connected to this case on Websleuths, but there are no solid leads. According to Jamie’s sister, at the time of her disappearance, Jamie had a large lump on the left side of her neck due to thyroid issues. She needed surgery to have it removed at the time she vanished. Jamie also dyed her hair a lot, some colors include black, brown, and blonde. In 2013, her sister confirmed that the Brielle, NJ Jane doe (https://www.namus.gov/UnidentifiedPersons/Case#/2274 ) is NOT Jamie and her name has been added to the Doe’s exclusion list.

If you have any further information, please contact the Brick Township Police Department at 732-262-1100.

The Missing Stephen Davaris

The Missing
Stephen Joseph Davaris Jr.
Case #: 05-9407
Bergen County

Stephen Davaris was 32 years old when he was last seen on July 6, 2005 by a relative in Secaucus, New Jersey. He told his parents that he was going to the Jersey Shore, but instead it was revealed that he bought a one-way plane ticket from New York to Ireland. The U.S Embassy has confirmed that Stephen arrived in the country of Ireland, in Dublin, on July 8, 2005. Steve had been to Ireland several times before, as he has Irish relatives. Stephen was last sighted at a pub in Inagh, County Clare after his arrival in Ireland.
On July 12, Stephens’ backpack was found washed ashore at Quilty Beach in County Clare. His cell phone, clothing, passport and other identification were inside the bag, but no sign of him. The person who found the bag was a man named John Joe, he took it home. And his wife, a woman named Josephine Ryan, put the SIM card in her own phone. Two days later on July 14, Steve’s parents called his number, and when the woman answered the phone, everyone had then realized that he had gone to Ireland.
After he vanished, Stephen’s rental car was found parked at the Cliffs of Moher. His loved ones believe he took his own life there. Although Steve had no debts, no problems with substance abuse and no history of depression, he did lose his job several months before he went missing and his sister says he had become moody and withdrawn.
Stephen is a Caucasian male that is 6 feet tall and 180 lbs. He has brown hair and blue eyes, with a full beard at the time of his disappearance. Above are two pictures of him and one picture of his tattoo. If he has passed away, his body has not been located.
As of May 2016, Stephen was declared legally dead. Police in Ramsey, New Jersey and in Ireland are still investigating his disappearance.

The Missing Danielle Imbo and Richard Petrone Jr.

The Missing
Danielle Imbo & Richard Petrone Jr.
Case #: 2005-0296
Burlington County

Danielle Imbo and Richard Petrone Jr. were 34 and 35 years old when they were last seen on Saturday, February 19, 2005 at 11:45 P.M leaving Abeline’s Bar on 429 South Street in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Danielle lived in Mount Laurel, NJ and was estranged from her husband at the time of her disappearance. She worked from home for a mortgage company and was the lead singer in a New Jersey rock band. Richard resided in Philly and worked at his family’s bakery. The couple had been involved in an “on again off again” romantic relationship that originally started when they were together in high school.
On the evening of Saturday, February 19, Danielle and Richard joined another couple named Anthony Valentino and Michelle McLaughlin, for drinks at Abeline’s Bar, who stated the couple appeared to be having a good time, smiling and kissing throughout the evening. They were even overheard making plans for the next day.
Witnesses stated the couple left the bar 15 minutes before midnight on route to Danielle’s home in New Jersey. They were seen walking on South Street toward Richard’s parked vehicle, a 2001 Black and silver Dodge Dakota pickup truck with license plate number YFH-2319 with a NASCAR sticker in the rear window. The couple and their vehicle have yet to be found.
Danielle was last seen wearing a jacket, a cream colored sweater, blue jeans and carrying a black purse. She is 5’5” in height, approximately 117 lbs, brown hair with hazel eyes with a tattoo of flowers on her lower back. Richard was wearing a gray Polo brand hooded sweatshirt and blue jeans. He has a tattoo of the word “Angela” on his left arm and a tattoo of clowns on his right arm. He has blue eyes, brown hair. He is 200 lbs, and 5’9” in height.
Since their disappearance, there has been no activity on either of the couples cell phones or personal bank accounts, no use of credit cards or their E-ZPasses.
Danielle had a 2 year old son at the time, and Richard had a 14 year old daughter. Both Danielle and Richard were very close with their families and everyone seems convinced they would not voluntarily disappear. Danielle’s family first noticed something was wrong when she failed to show up to her hair appointment on Sunday morning at 11 AM. However, panic truly set in at about 3 p.m, when Danielle’s estranged husband Joseph arrived at her condo to drop off their son “little Joe,” and Danielle was nowhere to be found. Once everyone realized she was absent, the police were notified. Since authorities had to wait 48 hours to start an investigation, Danielle’s family began searching for the couple, combing the streets of Philly until the next morning. Friends and volunteers canvassed neighborhoods for 100 miles in every direction, distributing pictures of Richard’s vehicle. The Delaware river was searched and fields were dug up looking for any leads. Danielle’s brother, John even went so far as to pay a Camden Police officer $1,200 to take him up in a helicopter to try and locate the ruck. None of these efforts produced any help, however. Police found no evidence to indicate what may have happened to the pair.
Both Danielle and Richard’s families believe that the couple are deceased and were possibly slain. Authorities are still trying to determine who might be responsible and why.
Danielle’s estranged husband Joseph was questioned by Police and the FBI many times. According to Richard’s father, Petrone Sr, his son told him prior to his disappearance that he received several threatening phone calls from Danielle Imbo’s estranged husband. “He kept telling me, stay away from her, leave her alone.” However, Joe Imbo has a rock-solid alibi for the night in question. He was at a child’s birthday party 50 miles away, where his stepfather, a former NYPD Officer, and several active officers were also present and vouched for him being there. Joe has never formally been declared a suspect, because there is not enough evidence to take him into custody.
Since 2008, the FBI has been investigating this case as a possible murder for hire, but they have not named any suspects. They do claim however, that the culprit was a professional, as it was a “well-orchestrated act.”
Although Richard’s family denies this claim, a theory was produced that Richard may have been involved with organized crime. In 2016, The FBI pursued a possible link between Richard Petrone and the “Pagan’s Motorcycle Club,” which is a group known for moving illicit substances and being aggressive. A special agent from the FBI interrogated Pagan member Patrick Treacy and asked him about a double slaying, but Treacy denied everything.

The case remains unsolved as of June 21, 2021.
