The Missing Allen Briscoe Jr.

The Missing
Allen Briscoe Jr.
Philadelphia, Pennsylvania

Allen Briscoe Jr. was 16 when he was last seen on December 13th, 1985 getting off of a bus near the home of a friend in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Allen’s mother worked two jobs, so every morning at 7:30 a.m. she would call home to make sure Allen and his sister were awake and getting ready for school at Bartram High School. When she called that morning however, no one answered the phone. She called once more at around 3:30 p.m, an hour after school was let out but still, no one answered. There were reports that Allen’s school closed early, and regardless of police records indicating that he was in school that morning, his mother does not believe he was actually there.
A friend of Allen’s claims they rode the subway together around Philadelphia all day and then came back to their own neighborhood by bus. Allen told his friend he was heading to see an unnamed female friend, and he exited the bus at Woodland Avenue.
When Allen’s mother returned home from work at 11:30 p.m. She located her daughter outside and she stated she got home at 11 p.m. but the door was locked and Allen had the keys, so she had gone to her grandmother’s home instead. She had not seen her brother.
Police do not think Allen ran away; all of his belongings were accounted for at home, including $50 that he had just received from his mother on his birthday the week before. Allen is a black male with black hair and brown eyes, standing at 5’8” and weighing 140 lbs at the time. He has a lump on his left shoulder, he is bow-legged, and his right shoulder droops when he walks. He also had a chipped front tooth. He was last seen wearing blue jeans and a black jacket. His nickname was “Squeaks” or “Squeaky.”
Allen’s case may possibly be linked to the disappearance of a girl that went missing in April of 1985. Her name is Christine Green, she was also 16 years old and went to the same High school as Allen. Her case will be linked below.

 Both teens remain missing.
