Christine Green was 16 years old when she was last seen at home on the morning of April 23, 1985 on Greenway Avenue in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. She left at around 8 a.m. to catch a trolley to attend classes at Bartram High School and never came back. Family states she was always home on time and if she was going to be late she would call. She has seven other siblings whom she was close with, and her mother was sick and bedridden when she went missing.
There were theories that Christine could have been pregnant and was afraid to come home.
Christine is a black female with black hair and brown eyes, standing at 5 feet tall and was 90 lbs. at the time. She also went by “Dinky” or “Tina.” She had her left kidney removed in 1984 and she would need medications if she became ill with a fever. She was wearing a pink blouse, a blue vest with jeans and black shoes.
Investigators suspect this case may be connected to the disappearance of a 16 year old boy that was last seen in December of the same year and he also went to the same school as Christine. His name is Allen Briscoe Jr and his case will be linked below.
