The Missing
Star Joy Dodson
Hollidaysburg, Pennsylvania
Star Joy Dodson was 21 years old when she vanished from Legion Memorial Park, in Hollidaysburg, Pennsylvania on July 10th of 1976. She was hanging out with her boyfriend, Daniel Dupnock at the time.
She was last seen wearing blue jeans and a blue denim jacket with a patch on it. She is a white female with blonde hair and blue eyes. Both of her ears are pierced. She stands at 5’1” and was 120 lbs at the time of her disappearance.
On July 27th, three weeks after Star went missing, Daniel Dupnock took his own life. He was found inside his vehicle. He “gassed himself” with carbon monoxide in his car. Police located women’s clothing inside his car after his death, but it was not proven to be Star’s.
Star’s case is still unsolved and considered a suspected homicide.
