Josephine A. Gerstner was 76 years old when she was last seen at 6:30 p.m. on Orben Drive, in Mount Arlington, New Jersey on Thursday, September 1st 1983. She, her husband and her son had recently moved to the area from Irvington, NJ. It is said that she “wandered away” and was never heard from again. Orben Drive is about one mile away from where she lived, at 38 Rogerene Way.
Josephine is a white female with reddish-gray hair and hazel eyes, standing at 5’1” to 5’3” and weighing 110-125 lbs. She was last seen wearing a green sweater, a green blouse, green slacks and black shoes with a black purse. She was also wearing a gold wedding band. She had freckles and a scar on her abdomen.
Her case remains unsolved.
