Dwane Mitchell Scott was 59 years old when he was last seen at a family member’s home at 7 p.m. on Thursday, February 13, 2025 near the 900 block of Summit Chase Drive in Reading, Pennsylvania. He told the family member that he was heading to the bar. There was a possible sighting of Dwane inside a bar/restaurant named Maria’s between 8 and 9 p.m. on Penn Street. Dwane is considered to be at special risk. He suffers from dementia, strokes, brain matter disease and stage 4 kidney disease. He has seizures and is insulin dependent due to diabetes. He is in desperate need of his medications. He has poor balance, hearing and vision. He may be confused. He needs 24 hour supervision. He left without his wallet or his phone.
Dwane is a black male with black hair and brown eyes, standing at 5’10” and weighing around 160 lbs. He was wearing a gray ¾ length winter coat with faux fur on it. Both of his ears are pierced but he was only wearing one earring that day, due to some irritation he was feeling. He has a caterpillar shaped scar on his right wrist, and he has a large scar from under his sternum running down his abdomen to his belly button.
Dwane is a husband and a loving father of five with several grandchildren. His is family is extremely concerned for his well being.
