The Murdered
Kelvin Powers Jr.

Kelvin Powers Jr. was 30 years old when he was brutally murdered in his own home on Wednesday, February 11th of 2015 at approximately 7:00 in the morning. He was located inside of his apartment number 33, in the William Penn Village Apartment Complex at 7 Amstel Drive near New Castle, Delaware. He was found to have several gunshot wounds. He was pronounced dead on scene by paramedics.
Kelvin’s girlfriend was leaving the apartment with her young son when she was confronted by two masked men armed with knives and guns. The men forcefully entered the apartment and shot Kelvin multiple times.
There is video footage of one man leaving the building and getting into a Honda Civic with the other man driving. The Honda was white with a dark colored stripe across the top.
There is a $20,000 reward for information leading to the identity of the perpetrators.
