The Missing
James Dean Knox
Warsaw, New York


24 year old James Dean Knox was reported missing by his grandmother on December 21, 1979 from his home at 35 Wyoming Street in Warsaw, New York. She last saw him at her home in South Warsaw on December 9th. He was last seen by several of his friends and local business owners on December 10th and 11th.
James served in the United States Navy for about a month before he was honorably discharged due to an unspecified health issue on May 25, 1972.
James is described as being a white male with blue eyes and dark blonde hair, standing at 5’11” and weighing 150 pounds. He usually wore glasses.
He was on medical leave from his job at Leroy Machine Company. He frequented a pizzeria in town. He was last seen wearing a red plaid jacket with blue jeans and black boots. He was said to be despondent about his recent medical issues.
No trace of James has ever been found.
