John T. Humphrey was 48 years old when he vanished from New Haven, New York at 11:30 a.m., on June 2, 2012. He was last seen by his caseworker walking along State Route 104 near the New Haven Fire Department. He was living in the Sumatra Apartment Complex in Scriba, NY, where he left all of his belongings behind.
John is a military veteran that suffers from PTSD, bipolar disorder, anxiety, depression, and other mental health issues and he may have also been suicidal at the time. He had just been released from a mental health facility the day before he disappeared. He was supposed to be taking medication but investigators believed he stopped taking it. He is classified as a vulnerable adult.
John is described as a white male standing at 5’ 6” and weighing 120 to 130 pounds, with brown eyes and gray hair. He had a full mustache and beard when he was last seen, and was wearing a dark blue sweatshirt and jeans.
He has a puncture scar on his back and a surgical scar on his right knee.
