20 year old Abby Lynn Patterson was last seen at 11:30 a.m. leaving her home at East 9th Street in Lumberton, North Carolina and walking towards Inglewood Avenue on Wednesday, September 5, 2017. She was reportedly seen getting into a brown Buick.
Abby had said she would be back home in an hour but she did not return. Her mother Samantha reported her missing at 6:00 p.m. on the same day.
Abby is described as a white female with brown hair and brown eyes, standing at 5’7” and weighing 140 pounds. She has a tattoo of 3 black birds on her shoulder and has a large tan birthmark on the back of her left thigh. She was last seen wearing a white shirt and brown shorts. Lumberton police say Abby had returned home from a Florida drug rehabilitation center just days before she vanished.
