40 year old Bernard Arthur Munn was last seen on April 18, 1967 as he was driving west on the Jericho Turnpike in Woodbury, Nassau County New York at 4:00 p.m. He had left the Volkswagen agency he and a partner had opened in February that same year. He was in a 1967 dark blue Volkswagen with NY plates #SA9713. He never went home to his wife and kids, and has never been heard from again.
That morning, Bernard made an $8,500 bank deposit. His partner stated that no company funds were missing. It is a mystery where Bernard obtained that amount of money. 
He was wearing a black overcoat with a plaid jacket, charcoal gray pants and brown shoes. He carried a “V” money clip, and usually wore a gold watch and a wedding band. He had his black horn-rimmed glasses with him.
Bernard is described as a white male with hazel eyes and balding brown hair. He stood between 5’ 8” – 6’ 2” and weighed 190 pounds. He has a “v” shaped scar on his left wrist and a 5 inch scar on his right shoulder. 
The most popular theory on websleuths is that Bernard drove into a body of water in the area. What happened to Bernard remains unknown.
