20 year old Jerry Francis Liberty disappeared on the afternoon of March 7, 1963 from South Glens Falls New York. He was on medical leave from the military due to a hand injury and had been under treatment at St. Albans Naval Hospital in Long Island, NY. He was witnessed to have been hitchhiking along the South Glens Falls bridge that crosses the Hudson River.
At the time he had no personal items with him and a small amount of cash. He never reported back to the hospital for his treatment and has never been seen or heard from again.
Jerry is described as a white male standing at 5’ 9” and weighing around 150 pounds with brown hair and brown eyes. He was most likely wearing his Naval uniform when he disappeared. He has a few “non descript” tattoos on his left arm. His nickname was “Pee Wee.”
