Fifty-eight-year-old Bessie Linder disappeared under heartbreaking circumstances in early 1968. Sometime between February and March, she was last seen walking away from an unnamed hospital in West Brentwood, Suffolk County, New York. From that moment on, Bessie was never seen or heard from again, leaving behind a mystery that has remained unsolved for decades.
Bessie was described as a white female standing approximately 5’2″ tall and weighing between 165 and 170 pounds. She had gray or partially gray hair and striking blue eyes. Sadly, very little information about her disappearance has ever been made public, making it even more difficult to uncover what happened to her.
