Wealthy Chinese immigrants 48 year old Peishuan Fan and 44 year old JuanJuan Zwang have been missing from their home on Maria Drive in Old Brookville, Long Island, New York since the night of March 30, 2025. Peishuan Fan ran a successful construction business near Shanghai, China, and he and his partner moved to New York in 2022.
That day, they reportedly had dinner with their two sons, ages 20 and 12, and everything seemed normal. The next morning, the older son, Yiwei, and his girlfriend brought the younger brother along on a drive to the Catskills for an overnight trip. They claim not to have seen their parents before leaving, which was common due to the enormous size of the home.
Their two sons have since moved back to China to be with loved ones and a lawyer has been hired to speak on their behalf.
Property records show that the family home, a 3.8 million dollar estate, had two names listed on the deed, JuanJuan and her son, Yiwei.
It was discovered that two people living in Queens had managed to steal over 2.8 million dollars from the missing couple’s bank accounts in late June and early July. A 36 year old man named Yinye “Roy” Wang and a 56 year old woman called Qiuju Wu, were both arrested and charged with fraud for providing fake paperwork to the bank to gain access to the funds in the accounts. They were captured on surveillance footage on three occasions. Starting on June 29, one at a time, the missing couple were added to Qiuju Wu’s bank account, then, the account was changed from “individual owner” to “joint with rights of survivorship” according to a court hearing that took place in Long Island. A slew of withdrawals and transfers were made afterwards, spanning over four days, until the accounts were drained.
When Roy was arrested, he had phony credit cards, bank checks, a NY drivers licence and a NJ tax refund check in his possession, all under different names. He has a previous criminal history of identity theft.

Peishuan Fan is described as an Asian male with brown eyes and black hair, standing at 5’2” and weighing 135 pounds.
JuanJuan Zwang is described as an Asian female with brown eyes and black hair, standing at 5 feet and weighing 130 pounds.
The couple’s whereabouts remain unknown and police along with the FBI are still investigating.
