14 year old Ashley Summers vanished from Cleveland, Ohio, on July 7 or 8, 2007, after being last seen near a family member’s home. She’d recently had an argument with her great-uncle, who broke her phone, leaving her unable to reach loved ones. Ashley, 5’5”, about 130 lbs, with brown hair, blue eyes, and a heart-shaped “Gene” tattoo on her upper right arm, was first thought to be a runaway, but she never contacted her family again. Over the years, investigators have pursued multiple leads, including a 2014 sighting of a woman resembling her on ATM footage in Rhode Island, though it remains unconfirmed. Despite no connection to the nearby Ariel Castro kidnappings, the FBI and Cleveland Police continue to treat her case as active.
