πŸ”ŽπŸ’™ Missing Person Alert: Help Bring Emilio Home πŸ’™πŸ”Ž

Emilio Acosta, a 20 year old man from Weehawken New Jersey, has been missing since the early morning of December 18, 2025, leaving his family in fear and uncertainty.

According to his parents, Emilio had been under their supervision, but around 1:30 a.m. they awoke to find him searching through their bedroom closet, grabbing two backpacks, and rushing out of the home. His father immediately searched the surrounding area by car but was unable to locate him.

Emilio is 6’1” and approximately 190 pounds, with brown hair and brown eyes. He was last seen near Palisade Avenue and Angelique Street, with additional reports placing him at the Bergenline Avenue Light Rail Station. Police later confirmed that his cellphone last pinged near the American Dream Mall in Secaucus on December 18.

He was wearing a cream-colored New York Yankees hoodie/sweatshirt, a blue Adidas ski jacket, gray sweatpants, and black Timberland boots. He was carrying two backpacks, one of which had a black ski helmet attached. His father does not believe Emilio was carrying cash, but he did have his cellphone with him.

Emilio’s family believes he may have been experiencing a mental health crisis at the time he left. His father, Ildefonso Acosta, shared, β€œMy son is a very loving, caring person. With the right support, he’s currently living with bipolar disorder, and when he left the house he was not in his right state of mind.”

Shortly after his disappearance, police searched the area surrounding the mall extensively, even launching drones to scan the region from above. Family and friends have continued searching and flooding social media with photos, while also encouraging others struggling with mental health challenges to seek support.

If you have any information about Emilio’s whereabouts, please contact the Weehawken Police Department immediately at 201-863-7800.

Every share, tip, and moment of awareness helps keep hope alive and may help bring Emilio home safely. πŸ™
